Hey all,
Trying to plan a quick trip down to Adelaide for a cricket world cup quarter final match.
Just keen to get some ideas on where is good/close to the ground to stay for the best price?. Also best ways to get around? cabs, busses etc?
Cheers,
Tim

Yep, anywhere you stay in the city will be easy to either walk, free tram or ~$10-12 taxi. It really isn't far.

If you stay anywhere within the CBD (particularly the Northern side), you can walk to the game, as the others have said.
Free tram runs through CBD up and down King William road between South Terrace and North Terrace, so if you're staying on the Southern side, then the tram is an option if you're feeling lazy
Alternatively, if you stay in North Adelaide, you can walk down to the Oval too.

All booked now. Staying at the ibis On grenfell street. Seems pretty central. Any advice on some good food places and or places to kill some time at?
