Motorsport Manager
Motorsport Manager was released earlier today. Based on the Mobile Game of the same name (built by the same team), it's been massively expanded for the PC.
The game doesn't have the F1 licence, so everything is randomly named. Unlike older F1 type manager games, you can choose to manage a team from a lower tier (think Formula Renault) and build them up over the course of a couple of years and take them all the way to the top.
Unfortunately, there is no co-op or multiplayer.

Re: Motorsport Manager
I was addicted to the mobile version for a while. This looks pretty awesome. A shame there's no license. Hopefully someone is able to mod it.

Re: Motorsport Manager
I've just bought this, it is 5.3GB. When I saw that the first reaction was "ok not gonna play today". Then I looked at the prediction: 7.5 minutes.
Hhhhehehe...ok I can wait that long.
Sorry guys but I love my internet connection.
Edit: I had a good go at it yesternight, it's really on steroids compared to the mobile version.

Re: Motorsport Manager
You can trial it on Steam for 2 hrs No real need for fishy sites, and I reckon they deserve the money, it's not that expensive.
And if you like it but you still can't afford it right now, xmas isn't far away, I'm sure it'll be on sale at one point.

Re: Motorsport Manager
In news that is surely going to delight some, Motorsport manager now features Steam Workshop support.
Already there are several F1 season replica mods going and various little odds and ends with Sega even saying that you can change the car type too! (Fingers crossed for a Vintage F1 mod!)

Re: Motorsport Manager
New DLC has been announced:
GT Championship DLC is coming out with two GT leagues.
Also releasing a physical copy with all the DLC included (Free Livery Pack and GT Championship)
And a "Make your own team" option where you can, of course, make your own team.
I'm on my 13th season in-game and making your own team sounds like an insane and reasonable solution if you're as bat-shit insane as me.

Re: Motorsport Manager
There was a glitch that when you told a driver who was going 10/10ths to pit that'd cause him to crash but that's been patched out.Dr. Pain wrote:Can you order drivers to crash on command?
You can hire a driver with a "crash happy" or "panic" skill, my wannabe Senna keeps doing his Imola impersonation cos he picked up a "panic" trait from the latest update.

I wouldn't want to a Senna but Singapore 2008 would be funny.
