I was mate, but today I found out I'm needed in Melbourne. At this stage only for a week, but it could extend longer.
I may join for later races though.

Hmmm i had to check that the post date was 2010 (or even 2009!)
If I can get my wheel sorted out, I'd definitely be in for some LFS action!

Argh, got this notice a little too late. I'll try and pop in for some practice though to get me back into it. A friend of mine donated their old Logitech wheel to me (after finding out they too used to play LFS in the early days of S1)

First race of the series was last night.
'Twas awesome fun with much buzzbox panel-bumping and buzzbox barrel-rolling.
Next week's event is a 40-lap enduro at South City Long.

Re: MNR Series - Battle of the Buzzbox 2010
Just a few questions, I've actually got a bit of April off, and have never raced in MNR before. Considering giving it a go. Loved these raced back in the AAL days.
Is there many people practicing online anymore on public servers?

Re: MNR Series - Battle of the Buzzbox 2010
There aren't as many as there used to be, of course.
On any given night there are usually about half-a-dozen punters who practise on the MNR servers (MNR1 & MNR2), or on the XOP5-Sydney server. The server password is usually that amber beverage.
Sunday night is a bit busier with most people having a practise run at some stage. Have a look around the forum.

gaiz gaiz, just a pointer to say I can't make the MNR forum work. the direct link works (so I can post in the signup thread) but I can't access the forum normally. if this is news to anyone I can post the error message I get, if that'll help.

Oooo LFS, I miss it...
I wonder if it's ok to possibly join in for one or both of the last races?
