1.6.5 is now on the server, but it might be worth waiting a little longer, notch has posted on twitter stating 1.6.6 will be released today (tomorrow here?) which should hopefully fix the majority of the bugs brought about by 1.6.1 through 4.

No, I think it's just to travel 1km in a minecart. Whether it's straight or not doesn't matter.

No idea. Just thought it would be a nice thing to do. I cant build any of the fancy shit you lot do, so 1km of flat, straight rail line is about the best thing I could do.

Is there an issue with the server? I haven't seen any animals spawn for 10 MC days.

Had a look norbs and couldn't see any friendly mobs spawning so I restarted the server and they appear to be spawning again now, will have to look into restarting the server once a day if I can.

Just had a look around. No pigs, sheep, chooks or cows.

I was getting animals last night... the fuckers kept blocking your rail line norbs. Stupid herd of cows, need one of those cow nudge thingys the old trains had.
