Re: Bike gallery.
Looks alright, has a lot of features that are also found on Cube's, wonder if there is some kind of Partnership there. KTM has been known to make MTB's before, but never anything great.

Re: Bike gallery.
nice! when i was shopping for MTBs, the XTC was right at the top of the list.. was only a heavily discounted run out specialized model that swayed me away from it!h00ligan wrote:

Re: Bike gallery.
Ive been looking at getting a hybrid for a while now to use as my work bus. Lashed out yesterday and bought this cheap yet rather cool lil number
Avanti Explorer
I'm thinking maybe I should have got the XL frame now though :/ I ride a medium MTB so I thought a large would be fine but I'm sitting over the front a little too much. It's not really a problem except I was hoping to do a few longer weekend rides and it might get a bit uncomfortable after a couple of hours. It rides well though and I can still take shortcuts and climb the curbs etc

Yeah its the explorer 1.0
They retail for $499 but I offered $399 and they accepted fairly easily, I should have said $350!

Re: Bike gallery.
not a bad price at all.. as far as flat bar commuters go, i like the look of the Whyte Portabello .... then again, whole lot more expensive! :PEnforcer-J wrote:Yeah its the explorer 1.0

Re: Bike gallery.
Yeah that's quite a bit more than I'd ever spend for a commuter! That's a sweet looking bike though. My other option was a Giant Roam but they are too upright even for me!

really? but they're hell fast and lots of fun it's only scary when you're at the top of the banking, your speed is dropping and you can hear your tyres starting to slip.norbs wrote: Looks the goods. Track bikes scare the shit out of me.

Re: Bike gallery.
Sorry for the poor pic, taken with my phone
Here's my new roadie, and the last of the major purchases for the next 5 years (so I've been told)
Rides smoother than the old bike and is a hell of a lot lighter. I just need to get back into training during the week, at the moment I'm mostly on par with the PB's of the old bike
I would have taken the cycling express stickers off, but they are under the clear coat...
