Re: Your ride today, yesterday....
Our Flinders Ranges trip was moved forward a month since there were a bunch of interstaters that couldn't make the trip, which worked out well enough for us. Just got back last Friday. Four days of doing the Flinders Ranges by Bike Loop (or a variant thereof) and a morning in Melrose. Pretty awesome
For what it's worth, the October trip has places open, if anyone is keen to do the same trip.

Weather was near perfect the entire time and the Flinders Ranges is looking much greener than it was in May. A lot more wildlife around the place too, which was really good to see

Re: Your ride today, yesterday....
Final ride of the year this morning to beat the heat and finish off the Festive 500. First time i've attempted it. Seemed like a lot of effort, not sure if i'll do it again.
With the end of the year comes the Strava my year in sport stuff. Happy with how i went overall. Slightly less kilometres than last year, but I'm not really that stressed by that.
Despite the generally shitty year for the world in general, I've really enjoyed being able to get out and enjoy my cycling this year, including a couple of tours of the Flinders Ranges Hopefully this continues into 2022

Nice work Norbs!
How many years worth is that?
that biggest climb looks suspiciously borked though! :P
I wouldn't say it's not much though. Your totals incorporate a whole bunch of epic rides and adventures. If it's good for you, I don't think it can possibly be "not much".
How many guys your age are just sitting on the couch versus doing all the things you're doing?
motivational speech concludes.

Re: Your ride today, yesterday....
March 2010 was when I rode regularly on Strava. So let's say 14 years or so.
Yes, I do realise to some people that is a lot of Kms, but I see what you do and what Duke has done and it makes it all relative.
That said, went to the doctors a month or 2 back and had to get a blood test for a cold I was having trouble shaking, and the results were great. She was very surprised I had ridden 3000kms that year. I expect i dont look like someone that could do that.
