I never really change the FOV, as it's something I never bother with.

Re: FOV
What the Holy Fuck is FOV?
OK this is a AC thread and Rod's pic of the leisurely driving position of the above lass has given me a clue. Field of View? Fishbowl type shit?

Re: FOV
Oh FFS!!!
Richo don't listen to them & make you're own judgement wrt to FOV. For single monitor set-ups it has to be a compromise & I get why some racers can't run a low FOV.
Even for my single screen setup I have to widen the FOV from what is my RealFOV. I honestly can't remember what I run in AC as I haven't been playing it for quite some time.
But if you have triple monitors I feel there is no excuse for not running your RealFOV.
If you want to know more & understand the theory, I'll leave these here for your digestment.

Re: FOV
Fired up AC late this arvo, I set mine to 45 from default FOV of 54.
iirc using a RealFOV calculator it says to set it at around 17 which is just ridiculous for single screen but like I said if I had triples it would be ok.
Oh I also adjust my seat position further back to recover some peripheral vision.

Re: FOV
iirc Project Immersion is all about sFOV (SuperFOV) which is a true 1:1 recreation, using huge screens (typically using projectors).
I can't remember if that calculator is for tFOV or sFOV. TrueFOV is what should be used for single & multi-monitor setups.
I think they end up pretty much the same in the end but there is subtle differences between them.
