Re: Skins
Attention skinners. I need some advice.
My boss has decided to sponsor a racing car on the condition that we can design the livery. I thought we could use something like Assetto Corsa to try out a few skins and see what works. Can you let me know what I need to make an AC skin, beyond Photoshop?
This is all very last minute and I'm not even sure what the car is yet but I think it might be an MGBGT. I found a AC version of it so hopefully that'll serve as a useful canvas.

Re: Skins
This is my first attempt at skinning a car. Have't really had the need to learn how to use photoshop but figured I should teach myself. With some links from Vil I was on my way. A lot to fix up but happy with how far I have come in two days. Bit of a take on the ken block car to begin with, looking at gearing it more towards the FMR colours and style as I get more practice.

While we're wating for the police to deal with the professor waiting outside the school, I finished some work on one of my skins and did a round-up of them.

I like the beemer! Is that a remake of a real scheme ? Seems odd that it would have rival oil companies logos . It's not unheard of though with a fuel sponsor and a different oil supplier I guess.
Solid work!

It's a mix of one of the old factory paintscheme and my own designs.Hz-Lab wrote:I like the beemer! Is that a remake of a real scheme ? Seems odd that it would have rival oil companies logos . It's not unheard of though with a fuel sponsor and a different oil supplier I guess.

I figured that the team would use the American lubricants and fuel while doing their down-under races but use some of that rule-bending european race fuel when they took the car overseas!

Re: Skins
I just had the trial version of PS and PI but I have realised that I need to invest a lot more time with the software to learn how to draw and create basic shapes. I'll never be on par with you lads, all those skins look great.
