He's a friend of Rabajin. They've got a big underground city project going on.

Yeah, Rabajin and Canaan are friends of mine. They'll be building their own crazy stuff.DarrenM wrote:He's a friend of Rabajin. They've got a big underground city project going on.

Re: Arseville v2.0
okay guys, only 3 people have contributed to this, which is a bit sad.
if you want the server to continue let us know by paying something. I know minecraft has become a bit stale, so let us know your thoughts and we can go from there.

Re: Arseville v2.0
I still get on occasionally, but there certainly isn't enough traffic to justify a paid server. If going back to Astro's is an option I think we should do that.

Re: Arseville v2.0
I agree, if the option for Astro's is there go with that, there certainly is not enough interest for a paid server. For me, I can't see myself playing MC for the foreseeable future unless there is a large amount of content added to get the interest going again.

Actually. Anyone keen to give tekkit or similar another shot? We have this server for another month....

Re: Arseville v2.0
my opinion, for what it's worth is that we went back to vanilla in the hope that we might get some of the old regulars back. Didnt really happen and the usual suspects keep plodding along. (and Im fine with that)
I would love another crack at Tekkit. I came in late to the last one.
Bamitznic (my young bloke) recommends Voltz. He prefers this over Tekkit. I wouldnt know though.

Re: Arseville v2.0
I had a look at voltz. Seems to just be about weapons/missiles. None of the normal tekkit mods are in it. Not really something we are about.

Re: Arseville v2.0
I did that the other day. Fell into a trap which dropped me into limbo. Only way out was to find some 'fabric of reality' blocks and touch them, but that puts you back in the world at a random location.Crowella wrote:Don't enter a dimensional dungeon. I learned that the hard way.
I was 57km from my home waypoint and it took me 2-3 hours to get back even though it was nearly all ocean. I thought I would get back in less time than it would take to replace all my gear and inventory, but after about 2 hours I wished I had just killed myself

Re: Arseville v2.0
Yeah tekkit lite has a lot more than what tekkit classic had.
Not sure if I like the current world generation they have in it though

Re: Arseville v2.0
Some seeds are mostly ocean. I don't think that's due to the mod.
There are a couple things in there to create or alter biomes. We could look at using some of those if we want more land
