for some reason it was saying we couldn't post, like it had flood control or something, even if you hadn't posted for ages, and for me it was lit up like a xmas tree with apparent new posts, even though they weren't. It was showing every post in every thread as unread. Plus it said every member had visited today, and almost all posts were posted today.

Nope... but I just tried to post the same thing in here. doesn't work either. most odd.

edit - found the problem.
It seems that phpBB doesn't like it when you put an 'e' in between angle brackets. <>

Seems a lot of hosts are currently blocking stuff in between <> in their mod_security settings.

I can probably get round with with something in the .htaccess file if you really want it.

I just thought that there may have been something corrupt going on with that thread for a little while until I figured it out..
