Improvements that aren't

I keep a series of lists in my head of things about life that shit me and a favourite category is things that are supposed to be improvements, but which aren't. This morning was a great example - the flickmixer style tap.

Supposed to be simple to use one-handed to change flow and temperature, but in practice impossible to use with any precision. With a conventional turning tap I can adjust flow rate perfectly, but I'm buggered if I can get a precise flow with one of these damn things. Its always too much, immediately to too little. And almost impossible to find a conventional tap.

And don't start me on watersaving toilets. Only thing I agree with Trump about - I always need to flush three times to remove skiddies and bits that haven't flushed the first time. I reckon I use more water with a modern toilet than I ever did with a conventional one.

Water saving shower heads.

Because having a shower under 100 needle like jets of water is such a wonderful experience...

The one im married to hates em!
She loves a large shower head with larger outlets. I must admit it creates a nicer softer water flow.

New one for this list.
For information sharing, topic based conversation and ease of finding information after the initial topic of conversation dies out.

Forums > Social Media.

I know socials were not really created to be used as they are now days but in many ways hobby based groups have taken over the use of forums and im not sure if it posed any great improvement from my experience.

So many places us Fuckbook for events and shit and forums would be so much better.

It seems like the whole Zwift community runs on Facebook and it does my fucking head in.

Even Arse is spread between the forums and the discord channel. I've seen all sorts of groups now using discord.
