Xbox One or PlayStation 4?

Post by Vilante »

I'm totally out of the loop so was after you opinions.

Someone wants to buy me one for Chrissy now they have come down in price and I reckon that's a good idea.

I prefer the controller on the box but I hear the graphics are a little better on PS and there are some more exclusive titles.

Any other considerations? Wouldn't be running on 4K so that's not a thing.

Cheers

Really depends if you're gaming with friends, get whatever they have otherwise this generation the PS4 has "a good chunk" more processing power.

Have both and use the ps4 alot more than the xbox. Both you have to pay to play online so either way lol

Xbox is a more media centre than the PS4.

I also think the exclusives are better for PS4

Yeah I use my Xbox a lot more for a media centre than for games. It's improved quite a bit over the last couple of years. I heard rumours that they are trying to make it a lot more cross platform with windows for gaming. I'm not sure to what extent of if that's true.

I have 2 mates that game on them, one has an Xbox and one a PS haha.

Thanks for the feedback all. I have a PS3 and didn't really use it for much more then Netflix as I didn't like the controller much. Smart TV is a good enough media centre for the moment.

Looking at a few comparison vids online the PS does look much crisper.

That's very true. I was just watching a vid of #6 and it looked like great fun. I have AC on the PC but I never get on because I have to set up the wheel etc. Might play more if I can just fire it up and go.

I really liked Halo too back in the day but got sick of it, maybe I'd be into it again now.

Because forza horizon 3 is PC I suspect future Forza's will be.

In terms of gaming the PS4 system is better to use, the party mode is far better IMHO. Controller is not as nice but that's a minor issue for me. I find them both playable without any strong complaints.

I have both, but play much more on PC than either.
