At the track all eyes were on Webber, he seemed miles quicker than anyone else once they came out at the end of the session. It was still drizzling but not quite as much. Webber was no where and then came out after the drizzle cleared and banged out his time really easily. It was still fairly damp so it would have been interesting to see how quick he would have been on a fully dry track. Considering the McLarens did their times very early in the session that lap of Webbers was mega to be only 0.4 down. In FP1 and most of FP1 RBR and Ferrari were running race simulations, lots of laps quite a bit slower than the other guys on qually runs.DexterPunk wrote:yeah good job too.. I guess I was more impressed with MS because he went out and smashed out those times when no one else was out there doing it. IMBO it was Schumies session.
And also, Ive come to expect that from Mark.... which can only be a good thing.
yeah he was going good.. him and MS were out there at the same time going quick... although MS was out first.. when everyone saw him being brave in the wet and doing ripping times, everyone jumped in their cars and got out there. But thats the thing, the RBR cars everyone knows are fast, I just didnt expect MS to go out there like he did and blitz it, you can almost discount the two maccas, they got their times on a nice dry track. MS may have even beat one of them on a dampish track, his last lap he was only a tenth down on 1st, but then ran into traffic, he was faster than his 4th which he finished with.
As i said before though, its only praccy.. tomorrow and sunday are what count. MS is $17 at the moment, If its a wet day tomorrow he'd be a great bet.
