I prefer the Aussie commentary myself

I was just thinking that im looking forward to watching my recording tonight...
Murray was good in the day but I wouldnt want to listen to him now days. He comentates for the Clipsal 500 and is quite painful to listen to. I love him but ide rather remember him for his prime
Life is hard...but, life is harder when you're dumb.

I have listened to a lot of his Clipsal commentating ....its awesome, I love it. I even got a copy from a friend of the broadcast with his track commentry ....was so much better than the channel 10 commentry.

Some strange goings on in praccy... some people up there I wouldnt have expected, the Maccas are flying, and RBR are quite a long way off the pace right now... Petrov in 3rd right now! :S I don't expect he will stay there, but then.. what are they all testing I wonder. How heavy on fuel are they? Its hard to know I guess, but even so, those times by Hamilton and Button look pretty nippy.
yeah, might be the right move though... Not an easy track to pass on, so qually is important. Also, its raining now, so maybe some teams have been caught out... they might have planed on getting some qually data towards the end of the session, which is kinda messed up with the rain now you'd think.
Not sure what programs everyone was on, but that was pretty damn impressive stuff by Michael in not great conditions. He would have been up in the top 2 or 3 id reckon if he didnt run into traffic.
Anyway, might be a much different story come tomorrow and race day.

yeah good job too.. I guess I was more impressed with MS because he went out and smashed out those times when no one else was out there doing it. IMBO it was Schumies session.
And also, Ive come to expect that from Mark.... which can only be a good thing.
Now I know why you like the Aussie commentators, rust gets excited over nothing and then goes on to tell us how god like Schumacher is! Talk about fail.
LMAO thats so true. I was watching the V8's after work and I cracked up laughing on the last lap when Lowndes had a half look and Rusty almost wet himself

actually Mark was flying at the end and was quite a bit quicker than anyone else, i never noticed Schumi sneak in there until the very end. At the track all eyes were on Webber, he seemed miles quicker than anyone else once they came out at the end of the session. It was still drizzling but not quite as much. Webber was no where and then came out after the drizzle cleared and banged out his time really easily. It was still fairly damp so it would have been interesting to see how quick he would have been on a fully dry track. Considering the McLarens did their times very early in the session that lap of Webbers was mega to be only 0.4 down. In FP1 and most of FP1 RBR and Ferrari were running race simulations, lots of laps quite a bit slower than the other guys on qually runs.
I won't even bother trying to analyse the laptimes of the praccy sessions (saw a bit of it on telly - couldn't spot any ARSEs)
I'm quite impressed with the Lotussesseses though. Although it might be a bit misleading due to fuel loads and such, it's nice to see they're not dramatically behind the pack.
