I remember winning the first season of this, great mod and good racing, just the poor GTR 2 netcode that lets it down but its no show stopper.

I'd be up for a league, depending on what night we run :D

Thanks for the show of interest fellows.

P&G is a mod for GTR2 only. (sorry ysu :( )

The P&G mod are some of the cars from GTL (TC-65 & GTC-65 at this stage) but set up as they were in the 60's rather than as FiA Historics, and with more model variations.

We are running on a Sunday night.

There will be 8 rounds with races run fortnightly, and organised practice sessions on Wednesday nights and the Sunday of the off week.

The server however is running all the time.

The event will start at 7:30pm AEST with 30 min Prac, 39 min Qual and an hour race, so the event will end at 9:30pm.

This coming season will consist of races of various single makes at various tracks. Some races will combine two cars rather than one, e.g: Alfa vs Cortina & Mini vs Abarth.

As Jiminee as mentioned some people do suffer from drop outs with GTR2.

We ran all default tracks this season to see if Add on tracks were the cause but they weren't, so we will return to using add on tracks.

To get an idea, the Mini vs Abarth event will be held at Amaroo Park.

Make it with GTR Evo (using the GTL conversion) and I'd prolly be interested.

Finally found the time to install the Power n Glory 3 after watching a review on inside sim racing.

Its a great mod but i cant see myself playing it online as ive never enjoyed GTR2;s netcode. But for a fun historic off line thrasher its defiantly got a place on my hard drive. The Targa Florio track has made this mod for me, its a perfect fit and a real challenge to try and learn the layout.

The Ai isnt fantastic but its still great fun.

Did you cop any damage at the 5 min mark??

I expected more lol, the steering was off by a few degrees but it still handled well. On the external replay the left front was smashed up a bit but that incident was more cosmetic damage.

Crippling damage is there tho. I am still to finish a lap of Targa Florio and find myself down a valley or on fire and mushed into a tree far too often. But having said that this track is fantastic!!! I loved the challenge of learning the Nordschliefe back in my GPL days but this track is a monster in comparison.

I've tired numerous times to finish a lap of florio using the historx mod in rFactor. Managed to get a third of the way through after 20 odd minutes. Don't think I'll ever finish a lap. The ring seems easy in comparison.

Edit: Tried watching the video on my phone, comes up with "unsupported video". First time I've seen that.

Yeah i think that might have something to do with me accidentally rendering the video as a .m2ts file. I cant get it to play on any mobile device but it will play on everything else in the house...

Well ive made it to the 26km mark twice now, only 46 more kilometers to complete 1 lap
This track is so much fun to drive. Its really re kindled my love for long tracks and having no freakn idea where I am going and reading the road at speed.

Here is a nice high speed whoopsie. I had never crashed at this location before and even tho i willingly took the overtaking risk, the outcome scared the shit out of me, I LOVE THIS TRACK!!!

I was on the team for this, did some cleaning up of the track before I feel into personal issues and left. I haven't played the released version at all yet...

Anyone played P&G and the rFactor HistoricX mod, is there a difference between the 2? Any preferences?

I finished a lap, 39 mins from a standing start in traffic.

Had to cheat and turn damage off, every time i entered new ground ide make a small mistake and have to carry bent steering. Only had a few offs in the end.

WHAT A TRACK!!!

I was driving blind after 28 off kms in. Was easy to follow but after a while i had to run by myself. Sooooooo many corners. When u change roads the km markers count down to the next town which is cool and that straight at the end of the lap, holy shit!
