So who is NOT signing up after the trial?
I signed up for a year this week as I feel I will get a lot out of it.
Who isnt re signing after having tried it?
I know it wont be for everyone and thats fair enough. I was just looking at my friends list and some of the guys havent raced/qual/TT/prac for 2 weeks

I'm not sure at this stage, I like the sim, but whether I can commit enough hours to it to justify the cost is what I'll have to weigh up when it comes to renewal time.

I wasn't going to bother since my machine just couldn't run Iracing well enough to enjoy it, however I just bought a nice new video card which should make the experience a lot better. Will be plugging in some hours over the weekend to make up my mind before my trial month is over. I have had some fantastic races even with my ailing machine so I imagine with a smoother experience it will only get better.

When I first played it I was quite sceptical & agreed with most of what Sterling had to say.
However after putting in some hours I love it.
I'm signed up for the year & will probably buy all the currently available content.

Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.

Just to join everyone who is not answering Stu's question I'm also signed up for a year. Have the content to run the Skippy and FMazda series all ready to go aswell.

Emjay is totally uninspired to race at the moment. She doesn't even want to try my sim.

Re: So who is NOT signing up after the trial?
Had this sim for a week and a bit now , but the one factor that made me hesitant was the timing of races (ie every two hours). I only just read in one of the threads here that it will be changed to every hour for the rookie series, so I think that has made my mind up. As far as the racing goes, I have been waiting for a few years for something like this to come along and I am loving the attitudes of 99% of other racers that I've come across. Just signed up here after trolling the site for a couple of years because I really believe that i am on my way to being addicted to iRacing (never really could get into LFS as I thought the multiplayer side of things wasn't well structured and I can't commit to joining a league.)

Re: So who is NOT signing up after the trial?
Well, I absolutely love this game, have had some of the best racing I have had ever in sim racing. BUT, after just trying a race at VIR east with a full grid, I realize that I really need a new computer to be able to play this online it seems. On my own I can run the track with FPS capped at 51fps, but today it started at 40, then into the midfield it was jumping around to as low as about 20, which is next to impossible to drive with. And this is all with the graphics turned to minumum settings, and a really low crappy resolution SO, now I am considering maybe waiting until I get a new computer

Damn! So many former LFS racers making the jump. I'm especially surprised to see Sarsi quit LFS for this. Mate, you're probably the closest in LFS in driving style to me. I think I'll have to give this one a go now.

Re: So who is NOT signing up after the trial?
I signed up for 13 months on the first night I played. Signed up for 1 intially, then paid for 12, which I emailed and asked what happens to my 1st month and they said it will tack onto the end. So I am set for a long time.
