Far out.
i didnt do much practice for this, and i started 6th, then was down to about 9th and losing alot of time to the leaders. Got a lap down under a penalty then took me 70ish laps to get to grips with the car, then managed to get my lap back, and as Jamie Rosenzweig has no clue about oval racing he can suck my cock. He belives i wrecked the leaders just by racing them.. go get fucked i was infront of them when gavin bounced off the wall. anyway, 35 laps left I started behind gavin sadler, he got through to 2nd quick, and when i got to third leader was 3.5 ahead, i was catching both of them at a quick rate, and gavin got the lead with 12 to go, i got 2nd easily then got gavin with 7 to go, held him off until t1 \on the final lap when he came from no where to my inside gave him room so we wouldnt wreck but matted the throttle came off the corner sideways, we both did and he wrecked. meh, not my fault when you come from no where into a corner in my opinion. i won. yippee

Re: Club leagues
Jamie is an old school style gentleman racer, and something like racing the leaders to try and stay on the lead lap goes against that code. That's all he's on about.
Just tell him that's not how it works on ovals and move on. There's no point getting agro over something so small.

Re: Club leagues
I just dont appreciate getting blamed for something by someone who hasnt a clue in the first place, and when the clue was given, not a single apology.
If i made a comment and was pointed out I was in the wrong, i would apologise to the person. thats what I am annoyed at the most.

Re: Club leagues
If you didn't think you were wrong but just had a different opinion, would you still appologise? Or would you just agree to disagree and drop it rather than get into a pointless circular argument? Which is pretty much what Jamie did in that thread.

Re: Club leagues
it depends on the situation. If its pointed out to me that its in the rules that it can be done and my comments were in the wrong then yes i would. If the rules state a situation can happen, then who am i to have a go at someone who then does it? his beliefs are road racing, you cant bring them over to oval it dosent work.
anyway i decided im over it now. and ill just beat him on track. simple

Re: Club leagues
I'm a bit scared of tonights race at infineon :S I seem to come off a heck of a lot more than LRP and I just can't drop into the 27's which I considor to be a semi compeitive pace. 28's are just too slow.

28's too low... haha, depends on who you want to be competitive with... 29's suits me fine..flagger wrote:I'm a bit scared of tonights race at infineon :S I seem to come off a heck of a lot more than LRP and I just can't drop into the 27's which I considor to be a semi compeitive pace. 28's are just too slow.
