Ok! Sim rig "finished". Finished off the build by buying one of those $90 ebay handbrakes and 3d printing a mount, and built one of the racelogic boxes using a vocore.io screen and the final cable management..

I like that Racelogic box. I have one that I sent to Brazil (and got lost at their customs) for Renato. And a 2nd that is just waiting on my 3d printer to get some love.

There is a "plan" for that.. Im going to start collecting parts for sfx-100 :)
But at this stage its awhile off, im using our 'spare' bedroom for my study/rig room, which being a raised queenslander means the whole house shakes even with the base shaker haha.. So until we move again and I have a more dedicated area ;)

Yeah they sent me a pre-order email this morning as I'm on their customer list. Going to give it a hard think. Might have a CSWv2 available for cheap in the near future (you listening, Bails?).

Ordered. Due September.

I looked at my order history. Turns out the CSW v2 was ordered in 2014, so I think I got my money's worth on that one and it's been completely reliable.

If it's good enough to tide me over until once the hype dies down for the new DD wheel, you're on!

I'm still rocking the old G27. Can't justify such a huge cost these days to upgrade to direct drive. The base alone costs more than my G27 set up. Then add pedals, shifter and steering wheel to it.

It is depressingly expensive. But I suppose, very much a 1st world problem.

No doubt, I'm currently throwing around Cursed's old CSW V1.5 at the moment, good set-up but it has a few issues that keep popping up, Way things are going I'll just keep buying Cursed old gear and put all my big money purchases into the real car.

Haha, yeah I guess so. I'm smashing ACC at the moment and kind of hooked. Still within 1 sec of most leaders or winning, so the G27 can't be that bad 🤘

For me, the path to the dark side was when my G25 started falling apart. It reached a point it just had to be replaced.
