These look most excellent especially when you factor in pricing but you'd have to wait for a set... Proto SImtech PT-1 Pedals

EDIT: I just opted-in to order these & am in 260th on the waiting list, the 2nd batch is in production now & is only 30 sets.

So it appears the G27 shifter is compatible with the new logitech wheels.

I got up in the middle of the night twice to try and get a set of these but website issues got in the way. In the end I ended up about 130 on the waiting list, just opted out sitting at 124. Why did I opt out, because of a new set of HE Pedal Pros :D

Some pics of the pedals and putting together the 8020 mount to attach to my Obutto Ozone. Mount is solid as, the whole frame now flexes a little though

They are an amazing set of pedals Sars but I just can't afford them... ever!!!
Also I don't really get why you'd need load cells on all pedals. I get some of the reasoning but pots can be cleaned, replaced easier & cheaper than any LC.

That's a huge gap between the clutch & brake I assume you seq shift & left foot brake a lot then.
Also where did you get the 80/20 from? I haven't seen it anywhere around.

by the way I've moved up to 257th in PT-1 waiting list.

Yeah I didn't think I could justify the cost either but the PT-1 pedals started the ball rolling and then the HEs were only (only lol) about $300 more all up after shipping. I figured $300 vs waiting a year for the PT-1s was probably worth it.

Load cells are apparently more reliable, less moving parts etc so should last a very long time with no maintenance. It's very humid up here so I think this should help. They are also completely linear compared to most pot based pedals. All three pedals are super responsive, you could probably breathe heavily on them and register some movement lol :P

As for positioning I actually never left foot brake, I heel n toe which is why I have the brake close to the throttle to allow for easy blipping, throttle is positioned slightly back compared to the brake as well. I use the clutch for any car that would require it in real life.

As for the 8020 I got that off ebay, the seller was really great, $16/m and he cut it all to size for me at no extra cost. The short pieces also reduced the shipping and he sold the corner bracket packs with t-nuts and combined the shipping. For those little economy slide in t-nuts I actually ordered those from 8020 Inc Australia.
I can link the ebay seller for anyone who wants it.

Thanks mate :D I'm usually not much of a DIY guy but I'm happy how it all turned out, took quite a bit of thinking and planning.

It will be mine, one day... But damn the AUD being so crap as I estimate it'll cost at least $2.5K to land one now.

You know that you can get an OSW kit with everything you need other than the wheel rim itself (and obviously paddles if you want them) and an enclosure (mini ITX case) for just over $1k delivered I'm sure? No soldering required, you just have to mount and plug in the components? That's the way I'd be leaning if i didn't have the ECCI.

Yeah I know of the OSW systems but must admit I didn't delve into it enough. But when I initially did & worked the sums I was sure it was still going to be around a $2K exercise.
Think I better recheck & look into it more deeply this time.

Yeah, the cost looks to have come down very quickly as they've developed a set of better matched products.

I can only assume this is legit, no pricing yet but I'm betting it ain't cheap... http://rexing.eu/
Rexing steering wheels are true high-end sim racing equipment. We give great attention to details and want to provide our customers with luxurious products that stand out.

Rexing formula steering wheel is used as addon wheel for PC games and simulations. If you already own a steering wheel (e.g. Logitech G25 and G27, Thrustmaster R500, ECCI…) you can easily replace original wheel rim with Rexing Formula wheel. Back of the formula wheel features convenient micro USB connector. It can be used to connect the wheel to your PC externally with any micro USB coiled cable. Alternatively, Rexing wheel can also be connected to your PC internally, with quick release connector and wiring, or with hard mount internal wiring.

This a supurb Seq shift mod for the G27 shifter, I would think it would work with the new G29 shifter as well.
G27 sequential shift mod using inch long #4 screws with springs around 2" or so. Just measure and take a tape measure to the hardware store with you and take one of the existing screws with you as well to compare threads.
