Update 5 just got released. 1.4GB download.
Addition of the Ferrari 488 Challenge car, and liveries from the 2017 Ferrari Challenge series. This is the latest Ferrari to feature in Maranello’s single-marque championship, and the most powerful car in the series’ 25-year history.
Addition of two new layouts to the Porsche Leipzig on-road circuit.
Corrected a small number of turbo and suspension issues on various cars.
Resolved an issue where some drivers would appear stuck on track during qualification or race session.
Resolved an issue where the end of race results would display incorrectly.
Resolved multiple ghost loading issues in time trial.
Polished the Online Reputation calculations, including tweaks for when players retire due to excess damage.
Corrected an occasional issue of players being taken to the wrong lobby if the host set up a new lobby whilst the old one was populated.
Mechanical failures no longer include aerodynamic damage.
Various improvements to the AI at a number of tracks and conditions.
Solved an issue in career when, under certain circumstances, the standings would not display correctly.
Multiple other miscellaneous fixes and optimisations.

These notes are noticably smaller than previous update notes. We had to refrain from listing every single fix as they were causing massive delays with certification. So keeping the notes smaller allowed us to push the update out for you all much quicker.

Did they just admit to not including changes to bypass certifcation? that seems like it would go against the rules surely.

The Microsoft Store Leaks New Spirit of Le Mans DLC for Project Cars 2
The third expansion pack for Project Cars 2 got a bit of an early reveal on the Microsoft Store.

Image

Race to glory at Le Mans past and present with the Project CARS 2 “Spirit of Le Mans” Pack. Fight the Battle of the Titans driving for Ferrari and Porsche on a painstakingly and faithfully recreated Le Sarthe Circuit as it was in the movie “Le Mans”. Race the V12 Ferrari 512 S and 512 M, and flat-12 Porsche 917 LH and relive the greatest sportscar era in history. Then fast-forward to now and fight for victory with four of today’s high-tech endurance heroes―the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the Porsche 919 Hybrid, and two of Audi’s all-dominant racers, the high-grip Audi R18 (Fuji 2016) and high-speed Audi R18 (Le Mans 2016). Yesterday and today’s heroes, on the legendary Classic Circuit de la Sarthe: this is the “Spirit of Le Mans”.

I tried 2 of the new cars, the Ferrari 512 S and the Porsche 917 LH, both at 1971 Le Mans and both felt good. They have a track specific set up which made life easier. The 917 is very fast in a straight line. I was cracking 380 kph :yikes:

June 16 for the race this year but our FNF is currently down for an enduro round at the Nordschleife. I'll gauge some feed back from this Friday to see if people want to do something at Le Mans for FNF to tie in with this years race. Push the enduro back a week.

I really hope my internets dont play up this week. Spent hours on the phone to Telscum to try and sort it out on Saturday after FNF and kinda got somewhere but it still seems slower than when they did the work in the exchange last Tuesday but better than I copped on Friday night... Acid test will be if I cop disco's this Friday.

Im gaggin for that Nordschelife round.

Project CARS 2 Ferrari Essentials DLC Leaks On Xbox Store
The video confirms the earlier leaked vehicles, of which there are eight:

Ferrari F355 Challenge
Ferrari 512 BB LM
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
Ferrari F40
Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
Ferrari F12tdf
Ferrari FXX K

The surprise is the 250 GT — arguably the best-looking of the 250-series cars. The previous leaks showed the 488 Challenge, though that came as a free addition earlier this year.

Even better, the Ferrari Essentials pack will seemingly add two new tracks to the Project CARS 2 roster. It’s already the best lineup of circuits of any modern racer, so the inclusion of Mugello and Fiorano certainly sweetens the pot.

There’s no release date in the trailer. Could it be right around the time of the game’s first anniversary on September 22? Stay tuned — given this leak, it shouldn’t be long until we find out!

A bit behind but I'm not sure how many of you even care for this series but they are in the thread for posterity at least.
Episode 38 is obviously my favourite...
