Re: Tour Down Under 2016
Caught the TDU as it turned back in towards Victor Harbor. Got myself a fairly primo spot on the exit of the corner, so I have lots of photos (I think I took 300+ as they passed through, using the multi-shot feature of the SGS6); when I get through sorting them I will upload a few and a couple of GIF's as well.
Here's a few teasers...
N.B. These were "gifed" by Google, so blame them for quality.

Just checked Strava, and apparently Thomas De Gendt went up Norton Summit yesterday in 11:06, which i believe is a new record. :o
Norbs, you have a bit of work to do! :P

Yeah, lose 60kgs.
Might be doing an article for ride magazine on power and weight. Sent my FIT file through to an expert and he said I'd go alright if I was 65kg. Fark.

Re: Tour Down Under 2016
Cracker of a day today with the tour heading out to Maclaren Vale and Willunga. We based ourselves part way between the two towns which afforded us the maximum number of views. Can't beat that value for money
Very intense racing today with quite a large group chasing for the final ascent of Old Willunga Hill.
A few shots from today:

I weigh 65kg and still don't go that well. Sadface.pixelboy wrote:I'm sure we'd all go a lot better @ 65kg!!

Re: Tour Down Under 2016
Final day of the TDU yesterday , and it was a awesome. Crowds looked to be massive, weather was pretty well perfect. There was an attack right from the start, and it stayed out for most of the race. The pace was very high from the get go which is usual for this stage. All back to a bunch sprint in the end, with is more usual for this stage.
Already looking forward to next year.
