oh man, I would give a left nut for LFS to be in its prime again. Those few years were fricken awesome.

Re: [Memory Lane] Some files from my LFS archive
The S1 video is shaping up very nicely - 15 minutes long so far. But the replays I have may be missing a few of you. I think once this one is done and on Youtube I might do an S2 version as well as compensation to those who may have missed out on starring in this one
It's been nice, chaps.

I don't know about giving up a nut, but this thread has certainly caused me to go to the LFS forums to see if there is anything happening.Hz-Lab wrote:oh man, I would give a left nut for LFS to be in its prime again. Those few years were fricken awesome.
In case you were wondering, no. The only things going on in the LFS forums is the new fan-boys arguing with the old and jaded guys.

Re: [Memory Lane] Some files from my LFS archive
Here are two replays I capped on the weekend.
I have a few more that I recorded on the weekend but for some reason the upload to EwwToob failed in processing.
Austra Racing - JUMP TIME

LFSEA Round 5 @ Aston National. The first 4 lap dice with Mitch and J.Luo

Wasn't it.VTRacing wrote:That LFSEA Supercar series was so great, though I must have missed that round...
I capped a fantastic replay from South City where you and I go hammer and tongs with J.Luo for the first stint. I managed to jump you at the stops due to not changing tyres and managed them till the end. Think I had 1 pixel of ware left and was surprised I was able to push and catch 55psi to nab 2nd. Ill try and get it on the Toob as its defiantly a keeper, i capped the whole race but its 56mins long so ill upload a trimmed down version.
I watched so many hard fought battles on the weekend from my save archive. Battles that just do not seem to have the same weight behind them in iRacing.

Won from the back row.
Last place to 1st in 4 laps followed by a fantastic battle with Mitchel McLeod thru the field and on lap 6-7 before he scored a pit violation.

Since we are posting videos, here's a couple from MNR two years ago, not exactly oldtimes but there was (and still is I believe) some good racing to be had.

Lol Neil, we almost got together going into the chicane jump and then again on the exit jump. Good times.

Re: [Memory Lane] Some files from my LFS archive
Oh man, I miss this stuff too. It seems like it's too hard to get everyone together to run another series. I miss the LFS racing, like Knappo said, it seemed to mean more than anything I've done in iRacing. My favourite stuff had to be the GTR series for AAL. I wish I had found out about the game when S1 was around but I didn't even hear about it till S2.

Re: [Memory Lane] Some files from my LFS archive
Uploaded a few videos off my NAS tonight.
Video by Righty, INCOMING. Pretty much the first ever AR Jump Time.

MNR: UFR Series 2006. Small Car, Big Ego.

Pacifica Racing: Beyond the Bridge

Ferret's crazy Fern Bay pass

South City's wall of DOOM!

Crashing Vol1 by Apoc.

LFS GTR race with a few blokes from ARSE in the field.
Race is easily won by Takumi with a crazy close finish for 2nd thru 4th between Righteous, StanDamm, KNAPPO (onboard) & Reppoh
