Well Vil I bet a lot of time was spent tinkering with anchor points & vectoring to achieve just the right look you were after...but it was worth it mate as that is sensational. :wow:

So skinnable wheels hey, how does that work?
Take your green bespoke wheels then wouldn't every car have the same coloured wheels on their skins too?
If so what's the point of it, I mean it would look good on your own car but a bit stupid on others...wouldn't it?

I see a new test patch is out, no VW yet but does have the new FBM wheels and rotating brake discs (bout time) but what is with 6 cars now having ABS :wtf:

I didn't wrap much as I'm a lazy old bugger so it wasn't too bad :)

Yeah the wheels are crap, it's a dds like the race suit so everyone in your environment gets the same thing. Not sure why they can't include it in the skin file?

When was the last time they charged you for new content?? Thats right NEVER. As for the car looking like a POS, maybe you should look it up on the Net, because to me it looks pretty bloody close to the real thing.

Delayed... but at least with an explanation rather than nothing
Our aim is to make the Scirocco our first car with very limited setup options. The plan is to make it have only the setup options that are readily available on a real road going Scirocco, for example tyre pressures and toe settings. This will mean that the racing should be closer than usual and rely on driver skill, without the need to search for the best setups. Of course this means we need to get the setup as good as possible so it is comparable with the real car.

Awesome! About time road cars where not unlimited in their setups!

Yeah I agree, although it will be interesting to see if it really does make racing closer once it is released, pity the release has been delayed though, seems Scawen may not have been tinkering away in the background (like we had all hoped) since the VW deal came along. :(

Very surprised he gave a release date before public beta testing, I thought he didn't mention any dates until he absoloutely knew it was coming out. Also funny we haven't heard any sneaky comments from Cutter :)

Yeah S1 to S2 was at a cost, but I believe we don't have to pay again until S3 so anything from that S2 payment till they release S3 (presumably with a bunch of contect like the S2 release - yes I know it may never happen) will be free. Or more like already included in your S2 payment.

Hope they dont use the typical race_s setups as there a bit ordinary, great to here that the thing will be setup as close to real as possible though.

Vil, we don't need to pay anyway? remember? they gave us a Uber $15 dollar store credit for using our Awesome Skins, In my mind this was definitely better than maybe ummm..getting our names in the fucking credits. hmmmm.
