Needing the CD is certainly going to cut down on its popularity. Unless of course, there is a crack. :)

Oh so can you spill the beans then Norbs :vibes:
I noted that they have mentioned that they are developing their own 3D vehicle models for a future release. I guess I can wait as I am not playing rF at all at the moment but I think this mod as well as the Bathurst legends mod (if it ever gets released ) will be the reason I try to get rF running sweetly.

CD or DVD is only needed to be in the tray when you install the mod, not needed after that so it doesn't load Starfuck or anything off the disc... surely someone you know locally has got one that you can "borrow" for 5 mins  Bargain bucket at the local games store or E-bay should get one pretty cheap anyway.... well worth it in my opinion.

Really does drive very well and sounds awesome to the point I've just broken my pedals :faint:

Yep 1Gig is just crazy huge, I assume the cars are part of the d/l as they mention that nothing is actually installed from the GTL disc it is only used to verify a legit copy. It also mentions having a separate rF install due to its size and complexity with specific settings (FFB etc), so that's even more HDD space required just to run a single mod. WTF indeed !!!!

It feels like a complete new game. Runs off its own shortcut and got its own interface and sounds.... Its a big d/l but its just amazing. If it had weather effects it would the best thing since sliced bread but even still, it rocks.
